HMA2 with GSDESIGNNY have designed a next generation, cost effective, modern, modular housing concept. Utilizing current manufacturing and installation technologies, the design respectively reflects aspirations of today— accessible home ownership, connected to natural settings and neighbors, in a compact, flexible, comfortable, energy efficient shelter. Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s organic Usonia home & community design for 48 homes realized over 70 years ago on a 100 acre site in Pleasantville, NY.

Hospitality starts at home. The latest example of HMA2’s exploration of the intersection of all elements of living: food, family and fun. The hillside site overlooking Long Island Sound begged for the kitchen and living room to slide out doors for cross seasonal living and enjoyment. The residence is a home is for an immediate family of five and extended family of relatives and friends.

"On the unspoiled Carribbean island of Vieques, just off the easter coast of Puerto Rico, New York architect Henry Myerberg designed a light, breezy vacation home for a Manhattan dealer of 20th century furniture. The original client has since sold the house, but the suitability of Myerberg's original design remains: he drew inspiration from the furniture and structural design of French architect Jean Prouve, a perfect source for a client who sold Prouve furniture."
