Libraries will increasingly be valued for their collections of people rather than their collections of books. No longer places where information is stored and accessed, libraries are where information is exchanged and created.
Density will increasingly be seen as a good attribute. Dense cities have vitality. Density = Den + City. Density engenders community and sharing ideas. There's too much space between and within buildings at college campuses. Density saves money. Libraries will be more than quiet places where information is stored and retrieved, but rather active places where information is exchanged and created. Libraries are market places of ideas.
